BuLogics “Celebrates Awesome” with National Engineers Week

MALVERN, PA, February 18, 2013 – BuLogics will participate in the national celebration of engineers that is annual National Engineers Week. The week, which runs from February 18-22, will bring engineer enthusiasts together for a week of engineering-related activities and gatherings throughout the nation to raise public awareness of engineers’ indispensable contributions to society.  BuLogics Talent will take part in events each day with focus on appreciation for the incredible innovation they bring to BuLogics each day.

Monday, February 18th

National Engineers Week Kick Off – BuLogics Talent will receive prizes including books and t-shirts from favorite comic xkcd and a favorite author Seth Godin.

Tuesday, February 19th

Engineering Career Fair – Drexel’s College of Engineering and the Steinbright Career Development Center Career Fair with more than 90 other companies, including BuLogics, in the Drexel Recreation Center.  As BuLogics continues to expand, Drexel proves a more important resource every quarter.

Alumni Connections Program Panelist Participation – Successful engineering alumni will participate in a panel discussion in the Bossone Atrium. Panelists will provide students and alumni with career advice, tips on how to excel in the field and ways to transition to the next level in your career.

Engineering Leader of the Year Dinner and Award Ceremony (5 p.m. – 9 p.m.) As the capstone event for the week, the College of Engineering will honor 2013 Engineering Leader of the Year, Dr. Linda Abriola, dean of engineering at Tufts University and a Drexel alumna of civil engineering.

BuLogics CTO and Drexel University Alum Ryan Buchert stated, “We’ve always participated in Drexel University activities for National Engineers Week through recruiting and panels, but this year we decided to celebrate our Talent internally as well.  Our engineers are moving the entire wireless automation field forward with their work and deserve the recognition for their amazing achievements.”
